Our Philosophy

At Boss Australia Services we have worked with many sites across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, with many complicated and varied challenges. We have found that whilst the estimating and ledger programs themselves are very good at capturing data nd history perspective, we now need to address and train the staff to understand the critical indicators that created the result . Boss Australia has specialized in the art of addressing culture change and people development in the collision repair industry. Training and development of our staff is, we believe, the single biggest reason for poor growth and decline in gross profit results. We subscribe to the ‘Fish’ philosophies in the business everyday. These rules are simple and easy to follow. These rules have been the basis for the truly world famous success of the Pike Place Fish Markets in Seattle, Washington, USA. Both Directors of Boss Australia Services have studied and completed the people development training that has been noted around the world as being best-practice work place behaviours. As a result of this training and the forming of a relationship with the team in the USA, we are pleased to announce we now can offer the training for this truly dedicated people development program in your business.

1. Play ( encourage your staff to have fun at work, be happy, laugh)

2. Make Their Day (everyday we can do something for someone else & not expect anything in return - it will return 10 fold along the way). Even if your employees are on performance based pay we must still encourage & promote the team philosophies at all times. Remember there are 3 types of players. “A” graders, “B” graders & “C” graders. If you allow the “C” grader to filter his moods, thoughts, attitude & character into the “A & B” graders then you will quickly have lots of people issues to get over. Remove the “C” grader as quickly as possible & build the “B” grader to the highest level.

3. Be Present (whilst at work be at work, disciplines need to be respected by all, do not allow one or two to step outside the guidelines, be here, be focused & have fun.

4. Attitude (every person chooses their attitude everyday - a bad one will take performance away from your team very quickly. If it is left alone then the results will continue on the downhill spiral. If you promote your team building philosophies on a regular basis then the attitude can become consistently good ones.

These four simple philosophies are truly to live by and once your team grow to understand and respect them…………………… they and your business will prosper beyond your belief .
